What Is Webathon?
Webathon is a National-level competition organized by the ACM-MHSSCE Chapter of Anjuman-I-Islam M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, in collaboration with the ACM Chapter of Matoshri College of Engineering, Nashik (MASC).
We invite all tech enthusiasts to showcase their skills and innovative ideas in a competitive environment. The event features two rounds: an online round on 27th July 2024 and an offline round on 8th August 2024 at our college. Webathon aims to enhance teamwork, leadership, attention to detail, adaptability, and creativity. Join us to push your boundaries and shine.
Timeline
Problem Statement
Disclosure of Problem Statements. Problem Statements will be uploaded on our website on 12th of July.
Submission Round
Idea Submission and Prototype Display will be held online. Participants will submit their innovative ideas and prototypes through the submssion portal before 29th July 11.59 PM.
Round 1
Participants will present their submitted idea to the panelists within a 10-minute time span for one problem statement on the Google Meet platform. Make every second count and let your creativity shine!
Result
Result of Round 1 will be declared on 1st August. Only the best 20 teams will qualify for Round 2.
Round 2
Final Presentation and Evaluation will take place offline. Selected teams will showcase their final projects and solution at our campus.
Prize
- Teams must choose a maximum of 2 problem statements from the list provided on the Webathon website.
- Teams need to create a PowerPoint presentation using the provided template.
- The presentation must be a minimum of 5 slides and a maximum of 6 slides.
- The presentation must be submitted by the specified deadline, i.e., 29th July, 11:59 PM IST.
- Participants who have completed registration and submission before the specified deadline will move forward to Round 1.
- Participants will present their submitted idea to the panelists within a 10-minute time span for one problem statement on the Google Meet platform.

- Please note that it is mandatory for all participants to present for this round.
- Failure to do so could result in disqualification.
- Submission will be screened by the judging panel based on creativity, feasibility, and relevance to the chosen problem statements.
- Results will be announced on the Webathon website on 1st August, 2024.
- All four team members must be present at MHSSCOE for the offline round.
- All team members are required to carry their College ID cards.
- Teams are required to develop a fully functional website based on the problem statement they chose in Round 1.
- Teams must submit their website code to the judges for evaluation.
- Teams will present their working model to a panel of judges.
- The presentation should cover the website's features, design, functionality, and the problem-solving approach.
- The hackathon is open to college students only.
- Each team must consist of exactly four members.
- Teams must register on the Webathon website by the specified registration deadline.

- For Round 1, the PowerPoint presentation must follow the provided template.
- For Round 2, the website code must be clean, well-documented, and submitted in the specified format.
- Participants must carry their own laptops and any other necessary equipment.
- Each participant must bring a valid college ID card for verification.
- Teams should have backup copies of their work on external drives or cloud storage.
- All participants must adhere to the principles of respect, integrity, and professionalism.
- Any form of plagiarism or use of unauthorized third-party code will result in immediate disqualification.
- All submissions remain the intellectual property of the organizers.
- By submitting an entry, participants grant the organizers the right to use the materials for promotional purposes.
